PUTTING OUR COMMUNITY FIRST.
MEET JESSICA

Jessica Caloza is a lifelong public servant, proud immigrant, and fighter for working families who has delivered real results for our communities in the California State Assembly. As our Assemblymember, Jessica has authored critical legislation to help everyday people confront the rising cost of living — expanding access to vital resources for small businesses and nonprofits, strengthening renters’ protections, and creating pathways to good-paying jobs. She has also secured millions of dollars in investment to grow key industries — from film and television to firefighter training and recruitment — fueling our local economy and keeping our communities safe.

Jessica knows families across our community are feeling stretched thin. She is fighting to lower costs, build more affordable housing, strengthen public education, protect reproductive freedom, and ensure every resident has access to opportunity and economic security. Guided by the belief that government should work for everyone, Jessica leads with a simple principle: it’s not about one of us — it’s about all of us.

WHY I'M RUNNING
My family had the opportunity to work hard, secure good-paying jobs, and build a better life. I want every family to have the same opportunity my family did — because it’s not about one of us, it’s about all of us. That belief is what led me to run for State Assembly, and it continues to guide my work representing our community in Sacramento.
The challenges facing hardworking families and neighborhoods across the 52nd District are real, and I’m committed to continuing the fight for meaningful solutions. Our community deserves leadership that is compassionate, inclusive, and focused on delivering results. In the Assembly, I have worked to help families facing the rising cost of living, support small businesses and workers, strengthen safety net programs, and invest in the services and opportunities our communities rely on. But there is more work to do.
We must continue tackling the housing and homelessness crisis, expanding access to good-paying middle-class jobs, protecting reproductive freedom and access to healthcare, strengthening public education, confronting the climate crisis, and addressing gun violence. My life’s work has been about bringing diverse communities together to find common ground and deliver real change. That is how I approach my work in the State Assembly. I will continue fighting for the people of the 52nd District the same way I would fight for my own family.
"It's not about one of us, it's about all of us. That’s what my campaign for Assembly is about."
